A vintage English tripod stool with a thick turned seat and three splayed bobbin-turned legs. The seat carries a set of incised concentric rings at its center, a simple decorative touch that also breaks up the broad surface.
The stool is structurally sound and stands firmly on all three legs. The seat has been cleaned and waxed; the surface shows scattered light scratches, minor scuffs, and honest handling wear consistent with age and use. The incised concentric rings on the seat top show darkened residue in the grooves. The leg ends show natural wear and small losses at the feet where they meet the floor, with a minor open check visible at one foot end. A small filled or original hole is present at the center underside of the seat. Species is stated as an assessment; the finished surface obscures the pore and ray cues that would confirm it. Date is a construction-based estimate with no maker's mark present. Sold as-is, with photos governing.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
