A miniature brass tilt-top table with a fully functioning tilt mechanism, reduced to cabinet scale from the full-size tripod tea tables that furnished English drawing rooms from the mid-18th century onward. The form is the thing here: a baluster-turned pedestal rising from three scroll legs with pad feet, topped by a plain circular brass surface that tilts and locks vertically just as a full-size piece would. Without a decorated surface to compete, the quality of the turning and the warm brass patina carry the whole piece.
Good antique condition with honest age-appropriate wear. The brass has developed a warm patina overall. The underside of the top shows heavier oxidation with mineral deposits consistent with age and long storage, not visible when the table is displayed normally. The tilt mechanism is present and functional. The top surface shows light scratching consistent with age. No repairs or losses noted. Structurally sound throughout.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
If your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage immediately (including packaging), contact us within 48 hours at austynmariedesign@gmail.com, and do not discard any packaging.
