Three parrots after John Gould, the great 19th century ornithological publisher, printed in rich color and set behind glass in dark wood frames. The plates reproduce three of Gould's most recognizable parrot studies: the yellow-and-blue Yellow Rosella, a pair of the vivid red-and-green Paradise Parrot, and the long-tailed Derbyan Parakeet in green and lavender. Each carries the original engraved captions and the Gould credit lines from the plates they were taken from. Sold as a set of three, they hang as a natural trio, the kind of layered old-world birds that anchor a library wall or a gallery arrangement.

One frame has a small loss to the top edge. Glass is intact on all three. Sold as a set of three. All observations are from the pieces in hand and in photographs.
