French Gilt Brass Oval Picture Frame, Rococo Crest, Circa 1880-1900
The frame is in good antique condition with honest age-appropriate patina throughout. The gilt brass has a warm, mellowed tone consistent with original lacquering or gilding worn through with age and handling. The embossed floral and leaf surround is intact with no dents or deformation visible. The pierced Rococo crest is present and undamaged. The two ball feet are intact and the frame sits level. The integral easel stand functions correctly and holds the frame upright securely. The glass is intact with no cracks or chips. The pasteboard backing shows wear and staining consistent with age. Minor surface wear and light verdigris in recessed areas of the casting, typical for brass of this period.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
