Small English pedestal side table from the William IV period, circa 1835, with a single frieze drawer and turned wood knobs. The oblong top is veneered in figured rosewood with a crossbanded border, raised on an octagonal tapered column over a concave-sided platform base and turned bun feet. A genuinely useful small footprint that works as a lamp table, bedside, or occasional table.
Sold as-is; photos govern. This piece shows honest age and use with several condition issues, all cosmetic to the top. The rosewood-veneered top has multiple splits and cracks running across it, visible in raking light, along with heavy surface scratching. There are lighter-toned veneer patches and replacements to the top and crossbanded border, which do not match the surrounding figure. The surface has been cleaned or refinished at some point; original finish is not claimed. The column, platform base, and bun feet are structurally sound. Both turned wood knobs are present. A brass escutcheon is fitted to the drawer front; the lock is untested and no key is present. The single drawer runs. Dimensions are approximate. Species is assessed as rosewood veneer from figure and color; the refinished surface limits confirmation. Date is a construction-based estimate from form and joinery, with no maker's mark found.

All antique and vintage items are shipped from our warehouse in Bluffdale, Utah. Each piece is carefully packed by hand using archival materials and custom crating when necessary.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the item. Local pickup is available at the AMD Warehouse.
All sales of antique and vintage items are final due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Illuminé candles and The Collector's Guide may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unopened and in original condition.
