The brass has an aged, darkened surface that I have left as found, with no polishing or cleaning. There is a small chip to the glass at the lower right corner. Several of the ribbon ends are curled or kinked, most noticeably at the upper right and lower left. They were that way when I found the frame and have not been reshaped. The soldered joints are visible from the back and show age. The backing board is loose and cut to fit. Its pink face has a small tear at the left edge, and the white reverse has gray smudging.
